TESTIMONIALS:

DONATE TODAY

Unity Through Community partnered with Tempe History Museum to present U-NITE at the Museum on May 19, 2019. The partnership created just the kind of all-ages, free, family friendly event that Tempe History Museum strives for.

More than 15 artists, art projects for kids, homemade baked goods, storytelling and local music filled the plaza outside the museum. There was more music inside with larger bands filling the museum’s stage.

This event brought so many families to the museum, that we look forward to having Unity Through Community as a partner for future events. Well done, Unity Through Community.

Working with Unity Through Community for our summer kids’ program, Tempe Time Machine, was far better than even my wildest dreams. We have a yearly theme that we give our partners and UTC did such a phenomenal job of connecting our theme with their great ideas. Our theme was Mill Avenue and UTC wanted to create a box maze. What they built was amazing. They created a castle box maze based on Mill Avenue that included a cardboard Valley Art Theater, a cardboard Mill Avenue Bridge, a cardboard A Mountain and more. The kids were obsessed with it. Not only were they able to play in it, but they were allowed to draw on it and even help tear it down at the end. They also did a great job with the kids on the day of the event. They brought a team to build it and monitor the kids to make sure everything held up. I will be working with them again soon and recommend everyone meet their great team and collaborate with them as well!
